Our School Day & School Organisation

Herein you will find the information about our school structure, daily routines and how we support learning and development.

Sometimes there is a lot to take in, so we have put together this page to give a quick overview of the key information, as well as links to other important areas of our site.

School Structure

Starting from our youngest and working to our oldest the school is structured as follows:

  • Tadpoles Nursery (2-3 year olds)
  • Frogs Nursery (3-4 year olds)
  • Reception (2 classes) - Ladybirds and Grasshoppers
  • Year 1 (2 classes) - Butterflies and Bumblebees
  • Year 2 (2 classes) - Dragonflies and Caterpillars
  • Year 3/4 (3 classes) - Seahorses, Starfish and Dolphins
  • Year 5/6 (3 classes) - Lobsters, Swordfish and Stingrays

School Clubs

We offer a wide range of after school clubs per term. These are run by staff and provide our pupils with the opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills and make friends. Our clubs range from sports to crafting.

School Timings

Our school day starts at 8:40am and finishes at 3:05pm for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, and 3.10pm for Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. Our timings are designed to maximise learning and give pupils time to engage with their peers, learning how to socialise, play together cooperatively and relax.
