Our Environment

Eden Park Primary and Nursery is more than a school; it's a vital part of the community, helping pupils become their best selves.

Enhancing our students learning experience

Our environment encompasses our grounds and facilities but also our approach, and our people.

What does Eden Park do well?

“Provide a broad range of activities and opportunities for a more varied education style.”
(Parent, Survey 2024)

“A rich curriculum with learning enquiries…and a….. welcoming community.”
(Parent Survey, 2024)

At our school, we believe in creating a nurturing, supportive, and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to grow. Our dedicated staff work together to foster a sense of belonging, respect, independence and kindness, ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, and ready to explore their full potential.

We are proud to offer sensory spaces that provide a calming and supportive atmosphere for all children, helping them focus and recharge. With a strong focus on well-being, we prioritise each child’s emotional and mental health, ensuring a balanced environment for learning.

We also take great pride in our ‘Wild for Learning’ garden area, a beautiful outdoor space where children can explore, connect with nature, and develop a love for the outdoors. This unique area encourages curiosity, creativity, and environmental awareness, fostering a sense of pride and wonder in the natural world. The garden features a fun and interactive mud kitchen, allowing children to engage in imaginative, sensory play while learning about the environment. Our tyre swings offer a chance for physical activity, promoting coordination and balance, while providing an exciting outlet for energy and creativity.

Our school is not just a place of learning; it’s a place where every child’s well-being, creativity, and connection to nature are at the heart of their educational journey.

Our People

The team works incredibly hard to provide the best possible for all our children. They are always on hand for a supportive conversation and welcome working with families. Care is a key and we approach all with integrity and an open mind.

Our Values - Our Approach

With children at the centre of all we do, we guide and help them develop through our 5 core values of respect, independence, creativity, teamwork and wellbeing. Children recognise these as our 5 heroes.

The Grounds

Eden Park Primary and Nursery formed from the merger of Eden Park Infant and Junior Schools. Tadpoles Nursery and KS1 are in the old infant school, while Frogs Nursery, Reception, the main office, and KS2 are housed in the main building.
